Once again the popular Surrey 4×4 Autojumble is being held in Capel, Surrey by InsideOut 4×4.

The Jumble started at 10am but we didn’t pitch up until an hour and a bit later as I really needed some extra sleep. By the time we did get there, people were already leaving after having nabbed some good bargains so I think next year I will get there on time.

There were more stalls than last year, with 3 big rows and some extra stalls round the top of the field. The usual range of bits were on sale from indicator lenses all the way up to complete gearboxes, trailers and Land Rovers.  I saw a nice double axle flatbed trailer with winch for £800. I didn’t look too closely in case I was tempted so can’t vouch for the condition but it looked pretty good.

As usual there were some lovely vehicles in the car park and dotted around. Although there were also some hideous monsters there as well.

It features different 4×4’s driving up some extreme (and not in a Scorpion racing way ) cliffs and rocks. The first and last clip are simply incredible.

And there I was getting all excited about a little mud!

This years Surrey 4×4 Autojumble on the 14th June is once again being held at Capel and is hosted by InsideOut 4×4.

The event is always popular and last years was very busy with the car park full of Landies from old Series I’s, 101 Forward Controls and brand new 08 plates. There were plenty of stalls selling everything from halfshafts to complete Land Rovers.

The annual Capel Auto Jumble was a success again with a large turnout and loads of bits on offer.

There were some amazing cars parked including a beautifully restored Forward Control. It certainly made what is normally an easy task of finding my car in the car park difficult.

Well that is wrong and these people need to be shot. Esp the ones in BMW M5’s that seem to think they own the roads, never indicate and sit inches off my bumper.

As most sensible people know, a 4×4 is for going off road and living the life of a working vehicle. Here is ours being used to set up the local clay shoot.
