Once again the popular Surrey 4×4 Autojumble is being held in Capel, Surrey by InsideOut 4×4.

It is still too cold to do any serious work on the One Ten and thankfully there are no major jobs that require my attention so I have time to relax and read through all my magazines.

My neighbour is on the look out for a 130 Tipper for his Tree Surgery business as he is sick of expensive parts for his current vehicles. We are off up to the Defender Centre in a couple of weeks to have a look at their range of tippers. Would be nice if he does buy one as we will then have three land Rovers in our street. A 90, One Ten and a 130.

We drove over West to the Bath & West Showground- Shepton Mallet for the LRO show today.

This was its first year and it looks promising. The off-road course looked excellent, there were a good number of trade stands including some of the big names and lots of auto jumble.

Quite a few clubs had exhibts there as well and there was plenty to see.

Jaguar Land Rover have successfully secured an 18 month lifeline after running up loses of over £1.2bn in the past 12 months.

The car firms latest filed accounts show they have secured a £600m bank facility that will enable them to keep trading until the end of next year.

JLR were within days of defaulting on loans when it negotiated an extension which will hopefully secure hundreds of jobs at its Halewood plant

JLR is still hoping the government will underwrite a £340m European Investment Bank loan which will be used to develop new models such as the 60 miles per gallon LRX concept vehicle.
